Summer Soccer Day Camp - Registration now open

Download the registration form and get your skiils tuned up at the Summer Soccer Day Camp, run by the Texan FC trainers. Dates: Aug 11-14 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm at Concordia Lutheran High School soccer fields. Boys and Girls ages 7 to 14, of all skill levels, are invited to attend. Full details HERE

June 25

Texans FC U16 and U18 advance at Regionals

The Texans FC 89/90 Red and Texans 91/92 Red advanced out of their respective brackets at the US National Cup Regional Tournament earlier this week. The U18s lost Andromeda (NTX) the eventual Regional Champ, 2-1, beat a Premier League team from South Carolina (3-0) and the Arkansas state champs (7-0) before losing in the Quarter Finals to Georgia (3-4). The U16s, representing the West Premier League, beat the state champs from Mississippi (2-0), Florida (4-2) and Arkansas (5-0), before beating the Premier League Central (MS) 2-1 in OT, finally losing in the Semi-Finals to the Lonestars (1-4). Congrats to the teams!

REGIONAL CHAMPS!  U16 Black Bring home GOLD!

The Texans FC 91/92 Black team were crowned Regional Champions last week in Columbus, Georgia. After winning the Presidents Cup State Championship in Austin, TX over Memorial Day Weekend, the team competed against the other State Champions in Region 3 over a four day period last week in Georgia. The team defeated the state champions of Mississippi, Georgia, and Tennessee in the first round, scoring 12 goals and conceding 1. In the semi-finals, the Texans FC 91/92 Black defeated Florida 2-0, and then went on to defeat North Carolina 2-1 in the final.

On July 17th, the team will head to Delaware for the Presidents Cup National Championship. Way to go guys!

Texan Friendlies -- Registration now open

On-Line registration for the Texan Friendlies is now open.  The Friendlies will be played Aug. 23 & 24 at Meyer Park and other North Harris locations.  Open to U9 - U19 boys teams and U9-U14 girls teams, teams will play three games against like competition without the pressure of advancement to playoffs.  This is a perfect warm-up for the Fall 08 Season.  Visit TexanFriendlies.com for more information and to register your team!

For the fall, EDDOA will be running a league for U18/19s, rather than just U18.  So if you will be U19 this fall, come to tryouts at Texans FC.

Dallas Texans Accepted into the USSF Academy

The Dallas Texans have been accepted into the USSF Academy, a new national league of U-16 and U-18 boys teams.

This gives the players of the entire Dallas Texans organization the opportunity to participate as roster or developmental players, within the USSF Academy rules.

Only players that are members of the Dallas Texans organization will have this opportunity to join the Dallas Texans USSF Academy teams.

U18 Red Win State Championship

Texans FC 89/90 Red won the USYS National Cup South Texas State Cup for the 4th time in 5 years at the state finals held this weekend at Lindsay Lyons fields. Saturday, they came from a 2 goal deficit to tie the Dynamo South Texas team 2-2; they beat Classics Elite 2-1 on Sunday; and they beat TSC 1-0 for the Championship. As State Champions, they will represent South Texas at the Southern Regionals, in June in Raleigh NC. Way to go Boys!!

U16 Black Win President's Cup - Head to Regionals

Texans FC 91/92 Black won the USYS South Texas President’s State Cup over the Memorial Day weekend, and will represent South Texas at the Region III President’s Cup Competition in Columbus, GA in June. During their President’s Cup run, the Black achieved a 7-1 record, a 25-1 goal differential advantage, and a clean sheet for 715 consecutive game minutes. Great job, Black!

New U11 Legend wins Memorial Day Cup

The Texans FC new U11 97/98 Legend team won the Albion Hurricanes Memorial Day Cup with a record of 4-0-1, scoring 15 goals and conceding 2

They beat the Eclipse Black team in the final 3-1.

U15 Mowery headed to MLS Youth Cup with U17 Dynamo

Conner Mowery has trained and played with the U15 Dynamo Academy team for 8 months and already has a trip to Mexico with the team under his belt. He has been asked to step up to the next level and will travel with the U17 Dynamo Academy team to Colorado for the MLS Youth Cup, July 3-10 in Colorado.   <more...>
