ALEX DIXON SELECTED TO U20 NATIONAL TEAM
|
Alex Dixon, a member of the Texans FC U18 Red team and a member of the Houston Dynamo Academy represented the United States National Team in competitions during the week of January 20-27 in Guadalajara . Dixon was named to the U-20 U.S. team and played the in Copa Chivas. Dixon was previously in the U-17 residency program before joining the Dynamo Academy.

** Congratulations to former Texans FC player Dylan Sansone and Wake Forest University for capturing the 2007 College Soccer National Championship trophy.
** The Texans FC U16 Black and U17 White teams competed in the Tampa Bay Sun Bowl as part of the college identification process in late December. Both teams showed well among some talented competition. The 17 White advanced to the quarter-final round but come up short in a 2-1 contest.

SPRING BREAK CAMP

There will be no league games played on March 15 and 16 or March 22 and 23. Preliminary plans are that no teams will train during Spring Break other than the few that are playing in events during that time. Your staff coach will let you know about training plans for that week. Texans FC will host a Spring Break day camp at Concordia Lutheran. |
