Texans FC Player Brek Shea scores for U17 MNT

At the Nike Friendlies this weekend, Brek Shea, member of the Texans FC 89/90 Red team scored the opening goal against Brazil on Dec. 9.  See pictures here and a write up of the game here.   Brek wears #15 on the U17 Mens National Team.

Earlier this fall, Brek was named to the All-Star team for Region III after the Interregional games at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex over Thanksgiving.  Soccer America.com lists the honorees.

U17 Texans FC Players play & train with the U17 MNT

Brek Shea, and Alex Dixon members of the Texans FC 89/90 Red team, recently spent 11 days training with the US Soccer U17 Mens National Team at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California.  While there, the team beat the U15 MNT and PDL's Bakersfield Brigade (U23 amateur team, consisting mainly of current college players) and lost to the Chivas Reserves and the Galaxy Reserves, both from the MLS.

Brek then traveled to Japan in early August to play with the U17 MNT in the Toyota International Championship in Toyota, Japan, where the team finished 4th.

Brek and Alex returned to Bradenton, Florida today to begin their second year of Residency at IMG Academies, and playing and traveling with the U17 Mens National Team.

Texans FC 92/93 Red Players head to US Youth Soccer ODP camp

Six 92/93 Red players head to camp at Mississippi State University earlier this month for Region 3 92 and 93 boys camp. Brandon Conaway, Jack Hays, Rodrigo Arguelho, Sean Dublin, Conner Mowery and Josue Morales are ready for the plane flight. Play hard!
