U17 Texans FC Players play & train with the U17 MNT
Brek Shea, Alex Dixon and Clayton Holz, members of the Texans FC 89/90 Red team, recently spent 11 days training with the US Soccer U17 Mens National Team at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California. While there, the team beat the U15 MNT and PDL's Bakersfield Brigade (U23 amateur team, consisting mainly of current college players) and lost to the Chivas Reserves and the Galaxy Reserves, both from the MLS.
Brek then traveled to Japan in early August to play with the U17 MNT in the Toyota International Championship in Toyota, Japan, where the team finished 4th.
Brek and Alex returned to Bradenton, Florida today to begin their second year of Residency at IMG Academies, and playing and traveling with the U17 Mens National Team.
